Art Elser was an Air Force pilot for 20 years, including a combat tour in Vietnam. He retired from the AF and was a writer in high tech companies for 30 years before retiring again. He’s taught writing, literature, and flying. He was a volunteer naturalist for a dozen years at nature centers around Denver. He now lives in Denver with his wife and their Goldendoodle. Their daughter, Barbara, is the Director of Finance for San Berdinao, CA, and son, Al, is District Manager of the Farmington, NM, BLM district.
