After some setbacks, Alan O’Hashi took advice from friends and pursued his interest of writing television and movie scripts that he had put off for thirty years. He took some production classes at the community access TV station, enrolled in a screenplay workshop, and hasn’t looked back since. After writing scripts for self-produced narrative and documentary movies, he changed around his workflow and wrote his first book, Beyond Heart Mountain, with inspirations of adapting it into a documentary movie.
Keep an eye out for Alan’s memoir, Beyond Heart Mountain.
